If you are a Mom-to-be, a new Mother or a Mother of children ages 0-5 years, then we invite you to join us! MOPS exists to meet the needs of every Mother of Preschoolers—stay-at-home and working Moms, single and married Moms, Moms of all different backgrounds and ages—all of whom share a desire to be the very best Moms they can be! MOPS meetings are times for friendship and fellowship. Mothers will not only feel a sense of belonging, but they will also have opportunities to support each other by asking questions, making connections and developing friendships that help you grow in Christ.

What can I expect?
We begin each MOPS meeting at Gateway with a homemade breakfast and conversation. Next, we hear a guest speaker, participate in a devotional and/or make a fun and easy craft project. Our guest speakers address a variety of subjects that are interesting or inspirational to Moms. Topics include home, family, children’s issues, parenting, relationships, holiday themes and more!

What will my child do?
When you arrive at MOPS, you will be pleasantly surprised at all that we have to offer your children! While you are meeting with other women, your child(ren) will be enjoying a safe, nurturing atmosphere with kids their own age through our MOPPETS program.  Your child(ren) will love participating in crafts, age-appropriate activities, story time, snacks and free play with our loving caregivers. If this is your first time leaving your child(ren), don’t worry. MOPS is often the first place a Mother leaves her child in another’s care. We are experienced in handling separation anxiety for both Mom and child, and your child(ren) will always be nearby.

When can I start?
•    2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month from 9:30am to 11:30 a.m. /September through May
