LOVE THY NEIGHBOR: Living A Life On Mission
What if loving our neighbors was more than a command with which we agreed? What if it became a way of life? Jesus calls us to love our neighbors - but He also shows us what that love looks like. It means slowing down enough to notice people. Making ourselves available when our plans are interrupted. Being willing to offer what we have, no matter how small it is, trusting God to use it. And letting the light of Jesus shine through the ordinary places and relationships of our everyday lives. Over these five weeks, we’ll explore what it means to live a life on mission - not simply by attending a missions event or serving on a project, but by becoming people who are continually looking for ways to love those God has placed around us. Throughout the series, Gateway will have opportunities to put our faith into action, through local and global missional projects, partnerships and acts of service. Because the mission of Jesus isn’t something we leave to someone else; it’s something we join.

Circumstances shift, seasons end, people move on, plans change, and sometimes the things that once felt familiar no longer do. In the middle of all that change, we need something — and Someone — we can count on. The good news of Scripture is that, while our lives and circumstances are constantly changing, God is not. His character remains steady. His promises remain true. His presence remains with us. He is still good, still faithful, still at work, and still worthy of our trust. In this two-week series in the Psalms, we’ll be reminded of what is true about God, no matter what season we find ourselves in. When everything around us feels uncertain, we can find security in Who God is and confidence in His faithfulness. Because when everything else changes, God remains unchanging.
