What if it became a way of life? Jesus calls us to love our neighbors - but He also shows us what that love looks like. It means slowing down enough to notice people. Making ourselves available when our plans are interrupted. Being willing to offer what we have, no matter how small it is, trusting God to use it. And letting the light of Jesus shine through the ordinary places and relationships of our everyday lives. Over these five weeks, we’ll explore what it means to live a life on mission - not simply by attending a missions event or serving on a project, but by becoming people who are continually looking for ways to love those God has placed around us. Throughout the series, Gateway will have opportunities to put our faith into action, through local and global missional projects, partnerships and acts of service. Because the mission of Jesus isn’t something we leave to someone else; it’s something we join. Circumstances shift, seasons end, people move on, plans change, and sometimes the things that once felt familiar no longer do. In the middle of all that change, we need something — and Someone — we can count on. The good news of Scripture is that, while our lives and circumstances are constantly changing, God is not. His character remains steady. His promises remain true. His presence remains with us. He is still good, still faithful, still at work, and still worthy of our trust. In this two-week series in the Psalms, we’ll be reminded of what is true about God, no matter what season we find ourselves in. When everything around us feels uncertain, we can find security in Who God is and confidence in His faithfulness. Because when everything else changes, God remains unchanging. Gateway Singles -- Fall 2026
Who Are Gateway Singles? Gateway Singles is a group for all single adults over 40 — whether divorced, widowed or always single. Our goal is to encourage one another in faith and growth through fellowship and serving others together. Upcoming Events Men in Black Movie @ Forest Park Friday, October 2 @ 5:30 pm Join us Friday, October 2 for music, food trucks and a movie on Art Hill at Forest Park! The movie is "Men in Black." Bring your lawn chair or blanket and snacks. We'll carpool from Gateway at 5:30 pm; the movie starts at 7:00. Kids Ministry Connecting at Home for September 6, 2026
God Provides Food for Elijah (1 Kings 17:1-6) ✝️ Here’s what happens: There’s a drought for several years that makes food scarce. But God sends ravens to Elijah to bring him meat and bread twice a day. Elijah also has water to drink from a brook. God is our provider, too. “He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us.” (2 Corinthians 1:4) 👨‍👩‍👦 Family Together Time Try this fun reminder that God has provided for your family. Make gift tags that say “Love, God.” (These can be as simple as small scraps of paper.) Tape the gift tags on food packaging, clothes hangers, above sinks, or even on your front door. Think of what God has provided for you and put a tag there. When you see the tags throughout the weeks, remember that the item you see is a gift God provided for you.
