What if it became a way of life? Jesus calls us to love our neighbors - but He also shows us what that love looks like. It means slowing down enough to notice people. Making ourselves available when our plans are interrupted. Being willing to offer what we have, no matter how small it is, trusting God to use it. And letting the light of Jesus shine through the ordinary places and relationships of our everyday lives. Over these five weeks, we’ll explore what it means to live a life on mission - not simply by attending a missions event or serving on a project, but by becoming people who are continually looking for ways to love those God has placed around us. Throughout the series, Gateway will have opportunities to put our faith into action, through local and global missional projects, partnerships and acts of service. Because the mission of Jesus isn’t something we leave to someone else; it’s something we join. Men's Ministry News for September 2026

In response to Jesus’ own ministry, Gateway’s Men’s Ministry exists to purposefully connect the men of Gateway Christian Church to encourage, support and equip one another to Live Faithful and Lead Strong. We Live Faithful through growing in God’s Word -- inwardly through study and meaningful relationships with fellow brothers in Christ and outwardly by having a spiritual impact in our families, our church and on other men in our communities. We Lead Strong through gathering together to fellowship and enjoy life’s experiences, as well as serving together to build strong, brotherly bonds, encouraging and equipping each other to be the strong spiritual heads of our families and strong Christ representatives in our church and community. WNL FALL KICKOFF // August 26 // 5:30-8:00 pm Have you been missing Wednesday nights at Gateway? Would you like to eat some free Chick-fil-A? Fall programming and Youth Group is starting back up this week! After eating and some fellowship, we will meet upstairs in the Student Center to kick off our fall semester. We can’t wait to see everyone!

Student Ministry Fall Semester 2026

September 13 - PARENT/LEADER COFFEE HOUSE //10:30-11:45 am Do you know who your student’s small group leaders and Student Classes teachers are? Have you had a chance to meet and talk with other parents who are in the same stage of life as you? Do you have questions about what exactly goes on in Youth Group? Then, the Parent/Leader Coffee House was designed for you! Come relax and have a cup of coffee while meeting leaders and other parents. September 23 - SEE YOU AT THE POLE // Check with your school for time Students will meet around their school’s flagpole for a student-led prayer event. Each school’s event is a little different but the goal is for students to pray for their schools, teachers, families, and leaders. A lot of schools meet at 7 am, but you should check with your school about the start time. October 4 - NEXTGEN SUNDAY // 9:00-11:45 am On NextGen Sunday, students are given the opportunity to serve during Sunday morning services. There are openings on stage, behind the scenes, and interacting with our church family, so there is a place for every student to serve!Register Here October 14 - FEED MY STARVING CHILDREN (FMSC) // 5:45-8:30 pm The Student Ministry will be packing at the Wednesday evening FMSC session at GCC. Students will be packing at a table with their small group. The small group table who packs the most boxes will receive a pizza party for their group. This is always an evening of fun, but more importantly, it makes a difference for children around the world. October 21 - NIGHT OF WORSHIP @ YOUTH GROUP // 6:00-8:00 pm Youth Group on this night will be fully dedicated to worship and prayer. Our student worship team does a wonderful job of leading our students in worship, not just through songs of praise, but also prayer prompts and interactive elements. October 28 - FALL FAMILY FUN FEST (FFFF) // 6:00-8:00 pm Join us for this free come-and-go, outdoor event for some good old-fashioned family fun! We will have a costume contest, games, candy trail, food, and s’mores. This is a great time to hang out with your friends while having a fun time. November 13 & 14 - SICOM (Student International Conference On Missions) // Time TBD SICOM is in St. Louis this year. This is a great opportunity to experience missionary encounters, challenging messages, equipping workshops, dynamic worship, service opportunities, and over 300 exhibits. This event is for middle school and high school students. We will be spending the night at the church. To find out more information and to register, please click below. November 18 - SMALL GROUPS ONLY @ YOUTH GROUP // 6:00-8:00 pm Small Groups will be given the whole Youth Group time to spend together. Each small group will decide how they want to spend their time. Groups will remain at the church during this time. November 25 - NO YOUTH GROUP - Thanksgiving Break December 16 - ALL CHURCH CHRISTMAS PARTY // 5:30-8:00 pm Your whole family is invited to our annual Christmas party!
